Connecting ERP, Ecommerce, and CRM into One Source of Truth
Order, inventory, and customer records were spread across Sage, Shopify, and HubSpot, and the three didn't agree. I connected them so leadership could work from the same numbers.

Three systems, three versions of the truth
The business ran on three systems that each held part of the picture: Sage as the ERP, Shopify for ecommerce, and HubSpot for sales and marketing efforts. Order, inventory, and customer records didn't stay consistent between them, so sales, marketing, and finance spent time reconciling spreadsheets to work out what was actually true, and duplicate records kept multiplying.
What I builtA three-system integration built to stay in sync
I architected the integration connecting Sage, Shopify, and HubSpot, including:
- Field mappings that define how each piece of data moves between systems
- Sync logic for how and when records are created and updated
- Error-handling rules so a failed sync gets surfaced instead of quietly creating bad data
- Data standards and validation rules across the integrated stack, so duplicates don't come back
Reliability over cleverness
Ownership before plumbing
Every field has a clear owner, so there's never a question about which system's number is right.
Fail loudly
Errors are caught and surfaced so a failed sync gets fixed instead of quietly corrupting data.
Fix the data, then protect it
Cleanup on its own doesn't last. Validation rules keep duplicates from creeping back in.
Built for the people downstream
Sales, finance, and marketing all report and forecast from the same records.
One set of numbers everyone can use
